Fresh off signing a deal with US based label Payday Records – an imprint instrumental in the careers of Jay Z, Mos Def and DJ Premier among others – Croydon’s Yung Fume is back with a mad move of a collaboration. The autotune-scaling rapper already dropped ‘Pick Up’ earlier last month, and has followed it up by releasing this video for ‘Something Else’ featuring emerging Atlanta rapper (and 21 Savage’s cousin) Young Nudy.

The two link up over a piano laced instrumental produced by none other than Zaytoven. If you’re not familiar with the sound, Zay is an Atlanta legend and has collaborated with heavy hitters like Gucci Mane, Migos, Future and Shy Glizzy to name a few. Yung Fume and Zaytoven linked up last year and their joint EP Level Up will be coming out any day now.

Once upon a time I opined that Fumos would be a big deal if he signed to an American label. Now that its happened hopefully he can fulfill the promise he showed last year and have a big 2018. Look out for Level Up coming soon and watch the video above.
