Following on from his latest mixtape success,  the Halfcast podcast invited Giggs to come through and vibe on a host of hot topics

Speaking openly to Chuckie and Poet on their popular podcast ‘Halfcast‘, Giggs goes in depth about a wide range of subjects, including the initial negative reaction his rapping and verses on Drake’s ‘No Long Talk’ and ‘KMT’ received from the U.S, and the overwhelming support the U.K responded with from the start of said exposure stateside, right up to the release of Top 10 in the UK Album Charts mixtape, ‘Wamp 2 Dem’.  The modern father of UK Rap also highlights the collective presence of Black British users on Twitter, commonly referred to as (UK) Black Twitter, and their support of him on the platform, as well as clearing the air on some historical tweets directed at them.

In terms of Giggs interviews out there, Chuckie and Poet do a fine job of getting the South London rapper to open up more than what you may have seen in the past, he cuts a relaxed figure throughout the proceedings which makes for a  captivating watch. His appearance on Halfcast represents a coup for the channel and a chance to appreciate how much Giggs, the platform and indeed the culture has grown since ‘Talkin Da Hardest’ changed the game almost 10 years ago.
